We are pleased to offer Pearson Edexcel on-screen examinations at our accredited examination centre in Durbanville.
Firstly, on-screen examinations allow candidates to type their responses securely. Consequently, scripts are clear, legible, and professionally presented.
Moreover, students with approved writing concessions benefit significantly from digital assessment. For example, candidates who experience handwriting fatigue may perform more confidently. In addition, typed responses reduce the stress associated with prolonged manual writing.
Therefore, learners can focus on knowledge, analysis, and application.
Furthermore, the digital platform follows strict Pearson Edexcel security protocols. Thus, assessment integrity and global standards remain fully protected.
Importantly, the Pearson Edexcel curriculum is recognised and accepted by universities in South Africa, subject to institutional admission requirements. Accordingly, students completing Pearson qualifications remain eligible for local and international university pathways.
At AoGC, we combine innovation with compliance. Therefore, families seeking modern, inclusive, and globally recognised assessment options will find real value with us.
If you are considering Pearson Edexcel on-screen examinations, contact our examination office today. Early registration is advised, as subject availability depends on awarding body approval.
Paper-based examinations
Although we proudly offer Pearson Edexcel on-screen examinations, we continue to administer traditional paper-based examinations. Importantly, paper-based assessment remains the standard format for many subjects across both Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel pathways. Therefore, candidates registered for subjects not yet approved for digital delivery must complete written examinations in the conventional format.
Furthermore, paper-based examinations maintain the same international standards, security protocols, and regulatory compliance. Consequently, students can be assured that handwritten assessments remain globally recognised and academically rigorous.
