Academy of Global Curriculum terms and conditions applies to all enrollments, employment, fees, handbook consent, image use, website use, privacy, and school services in Durbanville, Cape Town.

Welcome to Academy of Global Curriculum (“AoGC”, “the School”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern the use of AoGC’s website, online platforms, educational services, examination support services, admissions processes, employment relationships, school activities, and related engagements with parents, guardians, learners, staff members, contractors, visitors, and users of the School’s systems and services.By accessing AoGC’s website, applying for admission, enrolling a learner, accepting employment, submitting information to the School, paying any fee, using any AoGC platform or portal, participating in any School programme, or continuing to use any School service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time.If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use AoGC’s website, platforms, or services, and you must not proceed with enrolment, registration, participation, or employment.

Identity of the school

The School is Academy of Global Curriculum School, also referred to as AoGC, an educational institution and examination centre operating in Durbanville, Cape Town, South Africa. AoGC offers educational services, international curriculum instruction, examination-related support, and associated school services. AoGC’s website and branding identify the institution as a Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel international school and examination centre.

AoGC admits learners who demonstrate the capacity to succeed within a structured, disciplined, and academically rigorous environment. The School reserves the right to refuse or discontinue enrolment where a learner’s academic needs or behavioural conduct materially disrupts the learning of others or undermines the order and standards of the School. AoGC engages with, and retains, learners and families who recognise that a school is a structured social environment in which academic excellence is achieved through discipline, order, and shared commitment to educational integrity.

Scope of these Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to, without limitation:
1. All visitors to the AoGC website and digital platforms
2. All applicants for admission, parents, guardians, sponsors, and fee payers
3. All enrolled learners and prospective learners; all staff members, applicants for employment, contractors, consultants, volunteers, and service providers
4. All persons who attend or participate in AoGC events, classes, workshops, examinations, tours, consultations, interviews, meetings, extracurricular programmes, or school marketing activities
5. All persons who submit personal information, documents, media, or payments to AoGC

Service processing as acceptance of Terms, Policies, & the AoGC Handbook

By applying for admission, accepting an offer of placement, registering a learner, paying any registration or school-related fee, or allowing a learner to attend AoGC, the parent, guardian, sponsor, fee payer, and learner jointly and severally acknowledge and agree that:
1. They have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions
2. They have read, understood, and accepted the AoGC Handbook, together with all rules, regulations, policies, codes of conduct, academic requirements, administrative processes, examination requirements, financial policies, disciplinary standards, safeguarding rules, operational procedures, and notices issued by the School from time to time
3. Enrollment or proceeding with any service offered by AoGC constitutes full consent to the contents prescribed by the AoGC Handbook and all related School policies, whether issued before or after enrolment; continued attendance, participation, or use of School services constitutes ongoing acceptance of such policies and amendments
4. The School will rely on such acceptance as contractually binding.

For avoidance of doubt, no person may claim that they are not bound by the AoGC Handbook or School policies merely because they failed to read them after they were made available by the School.

Employment as acceptance of Terms, Policies & institutional requirements

By applying for employment, accepting an offer of employment, commencing work, continuing in employment, or rendering any service to AoGC, each staff member, contractor, consultant, volunteer, and service provider acknowledges and agrees that:
1. They are bound by these Terms and Conditions, the AoGC Handbook where applicable, all staff policies, codes of conduct, disciplinary procedures, confidentiality rules, operational directives, and lawful management instructions
2. They must familiarise themselves with all School policies and remain compliant at all times
3. Failure to read or understand a policy shall not exempt them from its operation; and AoGC may amend policies, procedures, job expectations, reporting lines, administrative systems, and operational protocols as reasonably required for the effective running of the School.
